Stride

Move at your own pace.

Stride is a fitness app that is free. Not free for a month, not free until you hit a paywall. Free. No ads, no premium tier, no card on file. Open it, pick something that fits how you feel today, and start.

What you get on day one

Everything is in the app the moment you open it. There is nothing locked behind a purchase.

Guided sessions

Short workouts you can follow along with. A clear voice tells you what to do and when to rest, so you are never left guessing in the middle of a set.

Three honest levels

Easy, steady, and strong. You pick the one that matches today, not the one you think you should be at. You can change it any time, even halfway through.

Quiet progress tracking

Stride remembers what you did and shows you the trend. No streaks shaming you, no red numbers. Just a gentle record that you can look at or ignore.

Works offline

Download a session over wifi and do it anywhere. A basement gym, a hotel room, a park with no signal. The app does not need the internet once a workout is on your phone.

No account required

You can use Stride without signing up for anything. If you want your progress on more than one device, you can add an account later. That choice is yours.

Rest is part of it

Stride suggests rest days and lighter sessions on purpose. Recovery is how you get stronger. The app treats a day off as a win, not a gap.

Free should mean free. So we built it that way.

Stride has no ads, no subscription, no upsell, and no data sold to anyone. It is part of the Calyraen Foundation, which means it does not need to make money from you. It just needs to be good.

Your first workout is five minutes away.

Download Stride, pick a level, and follow along. If it does not feel right, change the level or stop. There is nothing to lose and no one keeping score but you.

Workouts

Press play and follow along.

Every session in Stride is guided from the first breath to the last stretch. You always know what is coming next, how long it lasts, and when you get to rest.

How a guided session works

You are never alone in the middle of a workout. The app talks you through each move, counts your reps and your rest, and keeps the screen readable from across the room.

A clear voice

Spoken cues tell you when to start a move, when you are halfway, and when to stop. You can keep your phone face down and just listen, which is handy when you are flat on a mat looking at the ceiling.

A visible timer

Big numbers count down the work and the rest. The screen stays bright during a set and dims during a break, so you can glance at it without squinting.

Form notes that make sense

Before each move, a short note explains the point of it in plain words. Not anatomy jargon. Things like keep your back flat and your knees soft, so you do it safely without a coaching badge.

Swap a move you dislike

If a move hurts a bad knee or you simply hate burpees, tap it and pick an alternative. The session keeps its shape, you just get a version that suits your body.

Sessions to choose from

Pick by how much time you have and what you feel like doing. Each one is built to stand on its own, so you never have to do them in order.

Quick start, 5 minutes

A short wake-up routine of gentle movement. Good before work, between meetings, or on a day when five minutes is all you can give.

Full body, 20 minutes

A balanced session that touches your legs, arms, and core. No equipment needed, just enough floor space to lie down.

Strength basics, 25 minutes

Squats, presses, and rows you can do with light weights or none at all. Builds the movements your body uses every day.

Stretch and unwind, 15 minutes

Slow, held stretches to loosen tight hips, shoulders, and a stiff back. A kind way to end a long day at a desk.

Walk along, any length

A guided outdoor walk with gentle pacing cues. Set how long you have and Stride keeps you moving steadily, no treadmill required.

Wind down, 10 minutes

Breathing and light stretching before sleep. Lights low, voice soft, nothing that gets your heart racing.

The three levels, side by side

Every session comes in three versions. The moves stay familiar, only the effort changes. Start anywhere and move up or down whenever you like.

What changes between levels
Easy
Fewer reps, longer rests, gentler moves. Built for a first week, a comeback after illness, or a tired day.
Steady
A balanced amount of work with sensible rests. Where most people spend most of their time.
Strong
More reps, shorter rests, harder variations. For when steady starts to feel easy and you want more.
Switching mid-session
Tap up or down at any point. The rest of the workout adjusts on the spot, no need to start over.

There is no level you are supposed to be at. Only the one that fits today.

Some days easy is exactly right, and that is not a step backward. Stride is built so the honest choice is always the good one.

Progress

See how far you have come, quietly.

Stride keeps a simple record of what you did. No streaks to break, no rings to close in a panic, no notifications guilting you onto the mat. Progress you can look at when you want it and forget when you do not.

Tracking without the pressure

Most fitness apps turn movement into a scoreboard. Stride does the opposite. It records the facts and lets you decide what they mean.

A calm calendar

Days you moved are marked softly. Days you rested are not painted red or marked as failures. A blank day is just a day, and the app never nags you about it.

Trends, not judgments

Stride shows whether your sessions are getting longer or your level is climbing over weeks, not days. It points out the gentle upward line rather than yesterday's miss.

Notes in your own words

After a session you can jot a quick note. Felt great, sore left shoulder, short on sleep. Over time these become the most useful record of all, and they are yours alone.

No comparison to anyone

There are no leaderboards and no friends to keep up with. The only person in your progress is you. We think that is the only comparison that helps.

What Stride records, and what it never does

You should know exactly what the app keeps and what it leaves alone. Here it is in plain terms.

What it records
Sessions completed
The workout, the level, and how long it took. Enough to see your trend.
Your notes
Anything you choose to write after a session. Stored on your device by default.
Rest days
Logged as a normal, healthy part of the week, never as a miss.
What it never does
Streak shaming
No counters that punish you for taking a day off.
Guilt notifications
No messages that you have not worked out. You decide when to open the app.
Selling your data
Your activity is never sold or handed to advertisers. There are no advertisers.

Progress is the long line, not the single day. Stride keeps its eyes on the line.

One missed session does not erase a month of effort. The app is built to remember the months, so a single off day stays as small as it really is.

Questions about your data

No. Without an account, Stride keeps your progress on your phone. If you add an account later, your progress can sync to other devices, but that is entirely optional.

Yes, all of it, at any time, from inside the app. When you delete it, it is gone, including from any backup we hold.

No. It is not sold, not used for ads, and not shared with other people. Stride is part of the Calyraen Foundation and has no business reason to do any of that.

Plans

One plan. It is free.

There is no premium Stride. No tier you graduate to, no feature held back to tempt you into paying. Everything you have read about on this page is in the free app. That is the whole offer.

The only plan there is

We list it as a plan so you can see exactly what is included. The price is the price.

Why it can be free

Free apps usually pay for themselves with ads or by selling what they learn about you. Stride does neither, because of where it comes from.

Built by the Foundation

Stride is made by the Calyraen Foundation, not a business that needs to earn from it. Its job is to be a good fitness app that anyone can use, not to turn a profit.

No advertisers to please

Because there are no ads, there is no pressure to keep you scrolling or to collect things about you that an advertiser would pay for. The app can simply help you move.

No feature held hostage

We did not build a good version and a better paid version. There is one version and it is the good one. New sessions and improvements arrive free for everyone.

No catch. Just an app that wants you to move.

You will not find a paywall later, a trial that ends, or a polite reminder to upgrade. Stride is free today and built to stay that way.

Download it and see for yourself.

Open Stride, pick a level, and do five minutes. Keep it as long as it helps. We are not counting, and we are not charging.
