How Calyraen hardware warranties work in general terms and how to start a claim through Support.

Warranty

Draft for legal review.

Calyraen designs and builds its own hardware, including Forge servers and the Atlas, Vantage, and Stratus computers. When you buy a Calyraen machine, it comes with a warranty against certain manufacturing problems. This page explains, in general terms, what that means and how to make a claim.

We are early, and most products are still shown as out of stock. If you already own a Calyraen device, the terms that apply to it are the ones you were given at the time of purchase.

What a hardware warranty covers

In general, a hardware warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. That means problems caused by how the product was made or the parts used to build it, rather than by normal wear, accidents, or changes made after purchase.

We do not list specific coverage on this page because it can differ. The length of the warranty and the exact terms depend on the product and on the region where it was sold. The terms that apply to your device are the ones Calyraen confirms for that product and that region. If you are not sure what applies to you, contact us and we will check.

What is not covered

There are limits to any warranty, and some situations fall outside it. We are not listing those situations here as fixed rules, because they can vary by product and region. The exclusions that apply to your device are set out in the terms Calyraen provides for it. If you want to know whether something is covered before you file a claim, ask us first.

How to start a warranty claim

If you think your device has a defect, open a support ticket and we will look into it.

  1. Go to Support and start a ticket.
  2. If you have an account, sign in first so we can find your order. You can review your purchases under your account.
  3. Include your order number and the serial number of the device.
  4. Describe the problem in your own words, including when it started and what you were doing.
  5. Add clear photos, and video if it helps show the issue.

Once we have those details, we will tell you what happens next. Please do not send hardware back to us until we have asked you to.
