This covers getting a new Forge R110 racked, cabled, and powered on for the first time. It is a 1U server, so it fits a standard 19 inch rack.
Rack it safely
Mount the rails in a standard 19 inch rack, then slide the chassis in and secure it. A 1U server is short but dense, so support its full length as you slide it in.
Cable it up
Connect power to both supplies if your unit has two, then the network and any management port. Using both power feeds from separate circuits gives you redundancy.
First power-on
Press the power button and give it a minute to finish its first startup. From there, follow the Calyraen OS setup prompts.
