No IT department needed
Set up in minutes, not weekends. If a step needs a manual, we redesign the step.
See howComputers, software and cloud that work without an IT department behind them.
CalyOS Desktop runs the front office without a manual. Sign in, open your apps and get to work. Updates land quietly overnight.
Files, users, backups and the company website from one plain screen. No ops team, no command line, no weekend lost to setup.
CalyOS Embed boots straight into your kiosk, till or display app and nothing else. It restarts itself and stays out of sight.
One aluminium body, no fans you can hear, every port on the back.
Vantage 2 in studio grey.
The same calm interface on your desk, in your rack and out at the edge. Set it up in an afternoon, then let it get out of the way.
See how it works“The first computer we have owned that nobody in the office had to think about.”
Every Calyraen computer starts life in our own lab. We tune the fans, the firmware and the finish until the machine fades into the room and the work takes over.
Everything we make follows the same three rules.
Set up in minutes, not weekends. If a step needs a manual, we redesign the step.
See howNo forced subscriptions. Your machines and software stay yours, updates included.
The lineupFrom the front desk to the workshop to the cloud, everything speaks the same language.
Meet CalyOSPick the one that matches your day and let it disappear into the work.

Disk encryption, firewall and automatic updates are on from the moment you sign in.
New machines join your company directory in under a minute, no domain setup.
Your desktop and documents sync across every Calyraen machine you use.
Shared printers appear on their own. Pick one, print, done.

Real support from the people who build the OS, on every plan.
The machine is half the story. Here is everything that comes with it.

Every order ships free within the Benelux and arrives in two to four working days.
Support is our own team in Rotterdam. No scripts, no queue that resets at step one.
Contact supportEvery machine carries a three year warranty with advance replacement as standard.
Standard parts, published repair guides and a parts shop that stays open for ten years.
Parts and guidesSend an old machine back and we refurbish or recycle it, with credit toward your next one.
Run it in your own office for a month. If it does not fit, send it back on us.
Machines, software and support built as one piece. Pick a tile and see how it fits together.
Mail, files and printers are ready the moment you unbox. No setup wizard, no IT department.

The machine and its software are yours outright, updates included.
Off-the-shelf parts and repair guides we publish ourselves.
Real desks, real workshops, real offices. This is what quiet computing looks like once the boxes are open.
Technology should sit in the background of a working day. We build computers and software that need no specialist to run, cost nothing monthly to keep, and stay useful for years.
Power on, name the machine, done. Every Calyraen system finds its family on the network without a specialist.
See the stepsSecurity and feature updates arrive on their own. There is no license meter running in the background.
Read the policyNo. Setup is minutes, updates are automatic, and support is one button away on every machine.
No. You buy the machine and the software is yours, updates included.
What we are building, testing and learning, written up as it happens.
A twelve-person architecture studio in Rotterdam replaced its ageing fleet with Calyraen machines last spring. Nobody there works in IT, and that was rather the point.
The studio had been living with the usual arrangement: a cupboard of mismatched towers, a consultant on a retainer, and a shared dread of update day. When the oldest machine finally gave out mid-deadline, the partners decided to stop patching and start over.
The new machines arrived on a Tuesday. By lunch, every desk was signed in, the plotter was found on its own, and the project archive was exactly where the old one had been. The consultant's retainer quietly lapsed the following month.
CalyOS treats the whole office as one place. Add a person once and their mail, files and printers follow them to any desk. Updates install overnight and roll back on their own if anything looks wrong, so Monday mornings stay boring.
The machines are quiet. Not marketing quiet, actually quiet. The studio noticed it in the first week, then stopped noticing, which is how it should be. You buy the machine once, it does its job for years, and the loudest thing in the room goes back to being the espresso grinder.
When a workstation needs more memory in year three, it takes one screwdriver and an afternoon. That is the whole maintenance plan.
From order to first login, most teams are working the same week. No consultants, no IT department, no surprises on the invoice.
Choose from the lineup, or tell us what the work is and we will point you to the right fit. Every price is the full price, and you buy it once.
Your machine is assembled, burned in and loaded with CalyOS before it leaves us. Tracking lands in your inbox the day it ships.
Unbox, plug in and sign in once. Mail, files and printers are already where you expect them, and every desk you add works the same way.
A new team member takes about two minutes from the admin panel. Their desk works exactly like yours.
Five minutes inside the real interface tells you more than any brochure. Open files, change a setting, add a user. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Every CalyOS machine ships with the full app catalogue. No licences to chase, no downloads on day one.
Copies files, settings and whole machines on a schedule to a CalyOS Server or to CalyCloud, and restores either one file or the whole machine.
Records network cameras to disk on an Edge device or a CalyOS Server, keeps the footage for a set number of days and plays it back by camera and time.
Lists every CalyOS machine in the business with its update status, free disk space and last check in, from a CalyOS Server or from CalyCloud.
Holds staff accounts, groups and policies so one login and one password work on every company computer.
Browse, search and share files on the machine and in the shared folders held on a CalyOS Server, with the same folder names on every computer.
Firewall rules, disk encryption and USB device rules, set once on the server and applied to every machine that joins it.
Publishes company websites and internal applications on a CalyOS Server, and sets up the web server, certificates and databases they need.
Pick the single application an Edge device shows on screen, hide the desktop, block everything else and restart the app on its own if it closes.
Work email, shared calendars and meeting invitations, opened with the same staff login used on the computer.
Watch or take over a colleague's screen once they accept the request, so a fix does not need a walk to their desk.
A command line for staff who prefer to type, with saved SSH connections to other CalyOS machines.
Approve system and application updates, then install them on chosen groups of machines inside a maintenance window.
Create virtual machines and containers, give each one processor, memory and disk, then start, stop, snapshot or copy them from one list.
Photo and image editing for marketing pictures and product shots, with layers, masks and batch resizing.
Double entry bookkeeping for small business accounts, invoices, VAT records and simple reports.
Draws logos, signs and floor plans as vector artwork that stays sharp printed at any size.
Keeps work passwords in an encrypted file that staff unlock with one master password, with a browser extension for logins.
Documents, spreadsheets and presentations that open and save the .docx, .xlsx and .pptx files customers send you.
Web browser for daily work, and it can be locked to one website for a kiosk or a reception screen.
Email, calendar and contacts for staff who are keeping an existing IMAP or POP mailbox.
File sharing and sync the business hosts on its own CalyOS Server, with a desktop client, a web view and share links for customers.
Read, search and annotate PDFs, and fill in the forms suppliers send.
The database behind many business applications, ready to run on a CalyOS Server and to be copied by Calyraen Backup.
Plays nearly any video or audio file and can loop a playlist full screen on a display.
Real numbers from small businesses that moved to Calyraen machines and stopped thinking about their computers.
A nine-person practice used to lose a day setting up every new hire. Now a new desk is signed in and working in under twenty minutes, with mail, files and printers already in place.
Read the storyFour tills, two office machines and one shared server, run by people who sell plants for a living. Since the switch, nobody has had to call anyone about a computer.
Read the storyBuy-once machines with no per-seat licences changed the maths. The owner priced the old subscriptions against our lineup and the gap kept widening every year.
See the numbersA family-run vehicle workshop ran its whole planning from three ageing office PCs. Every morning started with a wait: updates, a frozen scheduling screen, a printer that had forgotten the network again. The one person who understood the setup was also the head mechanic, and every computer problem pulled him off the workshop floor.
They swapped the office fleet for two Calyraen desks and a Vantage server in a single weekend. Scheduling, invoices and the shared parts list now live in one place, every desk signs in with the same account, and when a machine is replaced the new one picks up where the old one left off. The head mechanic fixes vans again.
The computers stopped being a subject at the Monday meeting. That alone was worth the swap.
“We bought two machines, plugged them in and got back to making furniture. Nobody here does IT, and with these we never had to start. A year in, the only thing they have asked of us is nothing.”
Spec sheets, manuals and system images for the Calyraen family. Every file is current and versioned.
Cloud is the one thing we meter. Everything else you own.
Tell us what you run and we will point you at the machine that fits.
A Vantage desktop with CalyOS installed, your accounts signed in and your files moved over before it ships. Plug it in, start working. No IT department, no subscription meter running in the background.
Two sentences is plenty. A person reads every note and writes back within one working day. No ticket numbers, no queue music.
No account needed. We only use what you type here to write back with a sensible answer.
Average consumption over a normal office day: mail, documents, and a browser with too many tabs open.
Internal benchmark, June 2026. Identical workload on every machine, measured at the wall.
Pick a part of the system and see what it actually does for you. No feature wall, just the things you will touch every day.
A new machine asks for one sign in and builds your desk from there. Your files, printers and settings follow your account, so a replacement machine feels like the old one within minutes.
Everything you save lands in one place that is synced, versioned and shared with the right people automatically. Deleted something last Tuesday? Scroll back and pull it out.
CalyOS updates itself in the background and swaps over on the next restart you choose. No countdown windows, no surprise reboots in the middle of a quote.
A new colleague is one form: name, email, done. They get the right apps, the right folders and the right printers before their chair is adjusted.
Every machine backs itself up quietly while you work. If a laptop is lost or a coffee wins, sign in on another machine and carry on where you stopped.
Tap a dot to see what each part of the desktop does. No manual needed, this is the whole tour.
Documents, photos and shared team folders live in one place. New machines pick them up on first sign-in.
Your everyday apps sit here. Drag anything in or out, it stays put across every Calyraen machine you sign into.
Updates download quietly and install when you shut down. No countdowns, no surprise restarts mid-meeting.
Any printer on your network shows up ready to use. Nobody installs a driver, ever.
Pick the parts and watch the price follow along. What you see here is what you pay at checkout, nothing gets added later.
More memory keeps more work open at once without slowing down.
Room for files, photos and projects. Everything stays on your machine.
If something breaks, we come to you. No box shipping, no waiting weeks.

Extra room for creative work. More memory, faster storage and graphics that keep big projects smooth from the first cut to the final export.

Pick the setup that sounds like your workplace. Each one is a complete kit: the machines, the software and the people behind them, priced as one bill.
Every desk ready on day one, and nobody in your team has to play IT manager.
One tidy system from the till to the stockroom, watched over for you.
Switching a whole office sounds like a project. It is four stages, most of the work is ours, and your team keeps working the entire time.
One conversation is enough. You tell us how many desks you have, where your files and mail live today, and what absolutely cannot go wrong. We turn that into a plan you can read in one sitting.
Your machines are built, burned in and loaded with CalyOS before they ship. Accounts, mail and shared folders are set up in the background, so nothing changes for your team yet.
Pick a quiet morning. Everyone unboxes, plugs in and signs in once. Mail, files and printers are already where they expect them. Old machines keep working until you are sure.
We check in twice in the first month, tidy anything that feels rough, and only then close the move. Your old setup stays untouched until you tell us to retire it.
Certificates, warranties and promises are dull until you need them. Here is what stands behind every Calyraen machine, in plain words. Click any tile for the full picture.
The industry loves its jargon. Here is what it all actually means, in the words we use when we explain our own work at a birthday party.
Nothing floats in the sky. The cloud is a building full of computers that someone else looks after. In our case that building is in the Netherlands, we own the machines inside it, and our team keeps them healthy day and night. For you it means your work is there on any device you sign in on, and a broken laptop is an inconvenience instead of a disaster.
Your laptop works for one person. A server works for the whole company at once: it holds the shared folders, runs the tools everyone uses and answers requests around the clock. With Calyraen the server lives in our building. You never see it, you just notice that everything the team shares is always on.
We keep copies of your data in a second location, automatically, several times a day. If someone deletes the wrong folder on Tuesday, we can bring back how things looked on Monday. You do not have to remember anything or plug anything in. The safety net is simply always there.
Public internet is like sending postcards: anyone handling them can read them. A VPN puts your postcards in a sealed envelope first. On CalyOS the tunnel switches on by itself when you leave the office network. Working from a hotel or a train is as private as working at your desk.
A domain is rented per year, not bought forever, which is why renewal reminders matter. We register it in your name, renew it before it lapses and point it at your website and mailboxes. If you already own one, we move it over for you without your mail going quiet.
When a provider says 99.9 percent uptime, that still allows almost nine hours of outage per year. We publish our real numbers on the status page so you can hold us to them. No one honest promises 100 percent. What matters is how rare the hiccups are and how fast they are fixed.
Instead of a sticky note with eleven passwords, you sign in once in the morning and your mail, files and programs are all unlocked. It is safer too. When someone leaves the company, switching off that one account closes every door at the same time.
Encrypted data looks like random noise to anyone who steals it. The key that unscrambles it stays with you. Everything on Calyraen machines and everything travelling between them is encrypted as standard. It is not an option you pay extra for.
Thousands of automated knocks hit every business network every day. The firewall answers them so your team never has to. Ours is maintained by us, updated continuously and included in every plan. You will only ever hear about it in your monthly report.
Think of it as the width of a road. Email is a bicycle, a video call is a car, a nightly backup is a truck. With enough lanes they never block each other. If video calls stutter when someone uploads a big file, bandwidth is usually the reason. It is one of the first things we check for you.
A good migration is boring on purpose. We copy everything across in the background, check that it arrived intact and only then flip the switch, usually over a weekend. You log in on Monday and everything is where you left it, just faster. That is the whole show.
Most cloud pricing, ours included, counts people rather than computers. A seat covers one person on all their devices, so a laptop plus a phone is still one seat. Add a seat when someone joins, remove it when someone leaves, and the bill follows along the same month.
