Status

Every system, at a glance.

Live status for every Calyraen service, with a history of past incidents and the maintenance we have planned.

Right now

The live feed is on its way.

We are connecting the live status feed to the services it watches. Until it switches on, every service notice goes up in the newsroom, and anything urgent reaches the customers it affects by email. Nothing important waits for the feed.

Where to look

Two ways to know.

Right now

Service notices in the newsroom

Every incident and every maintenance window is posted in the newsroom while the live feed is being built. It is open to anyone, and you do not need to sign in to read it.

If it is urgent

An email straight to you

When a problem touches a service you use, we email the address on your account. You hear it from us before you think to go looking.

How we work

How we handle a hiccup.

Incident notices

If a service has trouble, we write it up and keep it updated until it is fixed.

When something breaks, we post a notice with what is affected and what we are doing about it. The same notice gets updated as the picture changes, and we mark it resolved once the service is steady again. The customers a problem touches also get an email, so you do not have to watch the page to know.

Planned maintenance

We tell you before we take anything offline, not after.

Some upkeep needs a service to pause for a short window. When that is coming, we post the date and how long we expect it to take, ahead of time. If the work will touch a service you use, we email you as well. A planned pause should never arrive as a surprise.

The live status page

One board for every service, refreshed on its own.

The feed we are building will show each Calyraen service and whether it is running, with past incidents and maintenance listed underneath. You will be able to open any entry and read exactly what happened. We are wiring it to the systems it reports on now. Until it is ready, this page and the newsroom carry the same news by hand.

“When a service has a bad day, you should hear it from us first, in plain words, before you go looking for the reason.”

Questions

Asked and answered.

Is anything down right now?

When a service has a problem, we post it in the newsroom and email the customers it affects. If your inbox is quiet and the newsroom shows nothing, everything is running as normal.

Why is the live feed not here yet?

We are still connecting it to the systems it reports on. We would rather ship a status page that is accurate than one that is early. Until it lands, the newsroom carries every notice.

How will I hear about planned maintenance?

We post maintenance windows in the newsroom before they happen, and we email you if the work will touch a service you use.

What counts as urgent?

Anything that stops you working, like a cloud service you cannot reach or a sign-in that will not go through. Those go straight to your inbox, not just the newsroom.

Do I need an account to read notices?

No. The newsroom is open to everyone. Email alerts go to the address on your Calyraen account.

Something not working?

If a service is giving you trouble and you have not seen a notice about it, tell us. A person looks into it and writes back.
