We started Calyraen with a simple idea. The things you buy should be worth keeping.
That shows up in small decisions more than in big announcements. Parts that come apart with common tools. Memory and storage you can add later instead of paying for it up front. Software updates that keep an older machine useful rather than nudging you toward a new one.
None of this is finished. We are an early company and we are still learning where we get it right and where we do not. What we can say is that when we make a call, we will explain the reasoning behind it.
