A long-endurance aircraft carrying a stabilised EO/IR gimbal and on-board detection. It reaches any point on a site in under a minute, holds there for over an hour, tells a person from an animal on its own, and puts one encrypted picture in front of every responder.
A fixed camera network covers the posts you planned for and leaves the gaps you did not. Blind spots sit behind buildings, along tree lines and across the stretches of a site no mast reaches, and the moment an incident moves it moves out of frame. Guards cannot stand everywhere, a foot patrol takes minutes to reach the far fence, and by the time a control room stitches three feeds together the subject has gone. What a site needs is an eye that can be over any point within a minute, hold there for the length of a shift, separate a person from a fox on its own, and hand that call to every responder at once. That is an aircraft, not another pole.
