Inside a Forge server before it ships

A look at the checks a Forge server runs through on its way out the door.

Every Forge server spends time on a test bench before it is boxed. We would rather find a weak part here than have you find it later.

The machine is assembled and then run hard for an extended burn-in. We load the processor and memory, push storage through read and write cycles, and watch temperatures under sustained load to confirm the cooling holds. Memory is checked for errors across the full range that is fitted, and every port and drive bay is confirmed to be doing what the spec sheet says.

A unit only ships once it has passed each step clean. The results are recorded against its serial number, so if you ever call us about a machine, we can see how it left the line.

Specs and options are on the servers page.
